Here are some plants in flower now.
Yesterday I made a new cross. A cross that has no genus yet. It is a cross of Angraecum x Papilionanthe x Vanda. In this case I have crossed an Angraecum with a Papilionanda. I hope that this line of breading will be successful if so I am thinking of naming the new hybrid genus Ljunggrenara!
My little Vanda nana is now in flower. It used to be called Ascocentrum pussilum. It is a mini Vanda with small flowers. Found in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia as a warm to cool growing monopodial epiphyte that blooms in Thailand in the winter.
Today I got the confirmation, YES, that to unregistered hybrid now bare my name. Kultana Orchids in Thailand has let me register two of there hybrids so that I can make new crosses using them. The crosses are (Rasri Gold x tessellata) that now is called Vanda Tommy Ljunggren and (Papilionanda Mimi Palmer x Vanda Kultana Indian Incense) that now is called Papilionanda Tommy Ljunggren.
My Vanda vietnamica is now in flower with two spikes. I am going to make a cross with my Papilionanda Johanna Ljunggren today. I will do a selfing of the Papilionanda Johanna Ljunggren at the same time.
